Terms of use

The rules for using the Pinnqle website and the Pinnqle software, in plain words.
1. About these terms
These terms cover the Pinnqle website (pinnqle.com) and the use of Pinnqle and Pinnqle Remote. Pinnqle is provided by Pinnqle Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with number SC898926, registered office Office 1751, 3 Fitzroy Place, 1/1 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G3 7RH, United Kingdom.
A company that subscribes to Pinnqle agrees an order with us, which includes our subscription terms and our data processing agreement. Where the order and these terms differ, the order applies.
Pinnqle is for businesses. It is not offered to consumers.
2. The website
The website describes Pinnqle and what it costs. It is general information, and we update it as the product changes. Prices on the website are a starting point, shown before VAT; a plan and its price are agreed with each company in its order, after a demonstration. Nothing on the website is an offer until an order is agreed.
Our guides are general information about construction practice, not advice for a particular job.
3. Accounts and logins
- Each person has their own login. Keep your password private and do not share a login.
- The company that subscribes decides who has a login and what each person can see, and is responsible for what its people do in Pinnqle.
- A company can give its own clients and tenants portal logins; they see only what is theirs.
- Tell us straight away at support@pinnqle.com if you think a login has been misused.
4. Using Pinnqle fairly
Do not use Pinnqle or the website to:
- break the law, or store or send anything unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to use;
- try to reach information that is not yours or your company’s;
- overload, probe, scan or attack the service, or get round its limits or security;
- copy, resell or rebuild Pinnqle, or take its code, content or data out in bulk except your own company’s records.
We may suspend a login that breaks these rules, and will tell the company why.
5. AI features
Pinnqle’s AI features (estimates from a brief or a photo, pricing, reading documents, contracts and drawings, the assistants, the agents and Archer) produce drafts and suggestions. They can be wrong.
Check AI output before you rely on it. A competent person in your company should approve anything used in a tender, a contract, a valuation, a payment, a notice or a safety decision. AI output is not legal, surveying, engineering or financial advice.
6. Your content and ours
Everything your company puts into Pinnqle stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide Pinnqle to you, as our privacy policy and your company’s data processing agreement describe. Your company can export its records at any time while it has access.
Pinnqle itself, its software, design, lessons, guides, text and brand, belongs to Pinnqle Ltd. Your subscription lets your company use it; it does not transfer any of it.
If you send us ideas or feedback we may use them to improve Pinnqle, without naming you.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Pinnqle available at all times, apart from planned maintenance, which we keep short and announce where we can. We release improvements regularly. If we ever remove something a company relies on, we tell it in advance. The uptime guarantee on the Enterprise plan is set out in that plan’s order.
8. Other services
Pinnqle can connect to other services a company chooses, such as accounting, email, calendar and messaging. Those services are provided under their own terms; we are not responsible for them, or for what they do with information once a company has sent it to them.
9. Responsibility
For a subscribing company, what each of us is responsible for, and the limits, are set out in its subscription terms.
The website is provided for information. We are not responsible for loss arising from reliance on general information on the website.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may change these terms and will post the new version here with its date. Changes that affect a subscribing company are notified to it in advance.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts decide any dispute about them.
